Phoenix Super LPG has tapped the services of returning import Dominique Sutton while it continues to wait for Paul Harris to recover from injury.

Team manager Paolo Bugia confirmed that the former Air21 and GlobalPort reinforcement will be available Sunday, Feb. 13 when Phoenix takes on TNT at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The 35-year-old Sutton came in as Harris has yet to fully heal from a hamstring injury suffered during the Fuel Masters’ Christmas Day triumph over the NLEX Road Warriors.

Donald Tankoua, the Cameroon big man who won multiple championships with San Beda in the NCAA, was even tapped by Phoenix as a standby import.

Sutton made his PBA debut back in the 2014 Governors’ Cup, making 10 appearances for Air21 which placed seventh in the eliminations before losing to Rain or Shine in the quarterfinals.

He came back two years later for GlobalPort but played only the first two games of the Governors’ Cup.

Since his last PBA stint, Sutton played for teams in Germany, France, Italy, China, Lithuania, Spain and Bahrain.

Phoenix carries a 3-2 record going into the restart, but is dealing with the loss of guard Chris Banchero, who signed with Meralco as an unrestricted free agent.
