CBCP office to hold election forum


As part of its "One Godly Vote Voters' Education Campaign," the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines Commission on Public Affairs & Commission on Social Communications will spearhead an election forum for the May 2022 polls.

The Catholic Election Forum for President, Vice President and Senator will start on Feb. 14.

It will be aired live via Radio Veritas 846 and via their social medial account at www.facebook.com/DZRV846 from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

"We invite every one to listen and to discern with us as we prepare ourselves to responsibly exercise our sacred right of suffrage in this upcoming polls," Veritas said in an announcement.

"We likewise invite all parish-based social communication ministries to help disseminate this forum in all your social media platforms," it further read.

"Let us collectively use this opportunity to truly reflect upon the candidate who will faithfully embody our Catholic Values and ideals of being pro-God, pro-country, pro-people, pro-nature and good," said Veritas.

The Catholic E-Forum, which will run until April 29, is in partnership with the Archdiocese of Manila Office of Communication, Radio Veritas Asia, TV Maria and Radio Veritas 846.
