St. Luke’s introduces COVID-19 home care services for corporate patients

In response to the growing demands for accessible medical care during the pandemic, St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) is now offering Care@Home services to assist companies in providing quality COVID-19-related care to employees. This program aims to provide immediate treatment for company employees experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

On-demand services such as teleconsultation are provided to employees while a comprehensive guide kit is given to companies to help streamline their COVID-19 response moving forward.

Through the COVID-19 home care services, patients who need medical attention can schedule a teleconsult with a St. Luke’s emergency room (ER) doctor.

St. Luke’s has been adopting the latest digital technologies to deliver state-of-the-art healthcare to its patients. Teleconsultation, or telemedicine, can be done via video or phone appointments by patients who wish to consult health professionals from the comfort of their homes.

On-demand services such as teleconsultation are provided to employees while a comprehensive guide kit is given to companies to help streamline their COVID-19 response moving forward.

“We are continuously finding ways to ensure that suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients receive immediate medical attention,” said SLMC president and CEO Dr. Arturo De La Peña.

St. Luke’s Care@Home provides a full range of services for patients, including home service RT-PCR tests, home service lab works, and regular monitoring of health conditions. COVID-19 home care kits and medical clearances will also be provided to the patients.

Services may also be extended to employees’ family members as long as there is written authorization from the company.

“Making healthcare more accessible is important especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These COVID-19 home services are put in place to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus and offer treatment in the most convenient way possible, so the employees can safely go back to work,” De La Peña added.
