Thirdy Ravena and the San-En Neophoenix dropped their seventh in a row after being handed a 110-77 defeat by the Ryukyu Golden Kings Saturday, Feb. 5 in Japan’s B.League.

The Neophoenix had no answers for one of the league’s top teams as they fell to the worst record in the West division at 4-26 following the match at the Okinawa Arena where the Golden Kings are based.

Ravena finished with seven points and one steal for San-En.

Kobe Paras likewise had the same amount of points but Niigata Albirex was beaten 83-64 by the Gunma Crane Thunders in another disappointing home setback at City Hall Plaza.

Paras made just 3-of-10 shots and added one rebound, two assists and two steals after the loss that sent Niigata to a league-worst 4-29 slate.

Matthew Aquino and the returning Javi Gomez de Liano hardly saw action for their teams.

Aquino only played 2 1/2 minutes in the Shinshu Brave Warriors’ 82-58 win over the Kyoto Hannaryz at the White Ring in Nagano.

He had three points which came off his only converted shot while adding one block during his short appearance for the Brave Warriors, who now hold a 15-17 record.

Gomez de Liano appeared for a total of 74 seconds as the Ibaraki Robots were beaten 96-88 by the Toyama Grouses at at Mito Arena.

Toyama was without Dwight Ramos, who returned to the Philippines to join Gilas Pilipinas’ preparation for the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
