After suffering a tough Game 1 defeat, Fennel Adversity came back to its senses and showed why it’s one of the top teams in PH Wild Rift scene, making the clutch plays in the last two games of its lower bracket match to arrange a showdown against LF Adoption.

Fennel responded well from the Game 1 hiccup as it dominated Grindsky, 24-7, in the second game to force the winner-take-all. It was a total team effort for Fennel as Maynard “Arise” Limon on the Akali unloaded 7-2-7 KDA while Domino “Domeng” Magbanua added a perfect 5-0-11 score line.

Carl “Calm” Lacsam also had his highlights in the game, finishing with a 6-1-12 showing.

A clash near midlane at the nine-minute mark proved to be the turning point of the match as FLA scored a four-man wipe on Grindsky. FLA took control of the match from that point and even scored an Ace in the final clash at the 19-minute mark, powered by Akali’s triple kill.

FLA carried the momentum in the series clincher as Domeng spearheaded the attack on the Kha’zix with a 6-1-2 score line while Arise on the Diana provided support with a 0-0-8 line.

It was actually Grindsky who had the driver seat in the early game of Game 3 before Dani on the Varus initiated a perfect ambush onto three champions of Grindsky at the 10-min mark of the game. That turned the tides to Fennel’s favor.

FLA sneaked in for a 16-minute Baron take before securing a four man kill in the clash for the elder dragon and eventually an Ace as FLA players went for the Nexus in the ensuing plays to take the series after a 16-10 Game 3 win.

Grindsky actually had a pretty good start in the contest after prevailing in the tight series opener with a 17-11 wub Tactical dictated the pace with a 5-1-10 showing on the Morgana in Game 1. He, however, failed to replicate the feat as Grindsky fell in the next two games.
