At the same time, the Lower House removed from the rolls of members Rep. Ronnie L. Ong, former representative of the Ang Probinsyano Partylist.

Ong was unseated as congressman after the Ang Probinsyano Partylist adopted a resolution accepting his resignation as nominee and member of the organization.

Taking Ong’s post was Rep. Edward C De Los Santos, Ang Probinyano’s third nominee.

Deputy Speaker and 4th District Pampanga Rep. Juan Pablo “Rimpy” Pablo said the House secretary general has been directed to make the changes in the rolls of members of the chamber.

Ong reportedly has a falling out with first nominee Rep. Alfred De los Santos and has decided to accept the nomination of another partylist , the "New Ang Probinsyano”, that will participate in 2022 elections.

In a statement issued on January 19, De los Santos then dared Ong to tender his resignation because he has “joined a new partylist”.

“It is to be noted that Rep. Ronni L. Ong’s membership to the House of Representatives is contingent on his membership to Ang Probinsyano,” stressed Delos Santos.
