Paranaque City's 700 minors to get COVID jab on Feb. 4


Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said around 700 minors belonging to the 5 to 11 age group will be vaccinated during the launching of “Bakuna Para sa YO (younger ones) on Feb. 4 at SM Sucat.

Olivarez said the names and schedule of the 700 recipients were already posted in the Facebook page of mayoredwinolivarezofficial.

He told the parents of the minors to bring their children to the vaccination site minutes before the prescribed time that they will be receiving through a text or SMS message for their vaccination.

The mayor advised parents or guardians of the children not to forget to bring the birth certificates of their children coming from the Philippine Statistic Authority (PSA) or from the Local Civil Registrar (LCR) and other documents to show proof of the relation to the minors like valid ID of the parents or the guardians, school or any valid ID of the minor, and the medical certificate of those with comorbidities duly signed by their attending physician.

Olivarez called on the parents of minors to register their children at https://paranaquecity.ph//paranaquenyo and get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.

He said the launching of "Bakuna Para sa YO" will be held at SM Sucat, and on Feb. 7, the simultaneous vaccination for minors will be held at Ayala Malls and Ospital ng Paranaque 1 and 2.

The mayor said vaccination at the two malls will be held from Monday to Friday while at OSPAR1 will be every Monday, Thursday, and Friday and at OSPAR 2, it will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
