The MDTC will also serve as a mobile coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination site and also facilitate the distribution of “ayuda” (financial aid) to Pasig residents.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Vico Sotto said the MDTC will also be equipped to perform human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) screening in the future.

“Meron ding family planning at sa susunod maaaring magkaroon na rin pati HIV screening (There are also family planning services and, in the future, it will also be able to perform HIV screening),” Sotto said.

The initiative was launched in collaboration with the Substance Abuse Office of Pasig (SATOP), the Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Pasig (ADCOP), and the Pasig City Health Department.
