Coldplay and BTS’ music video “My Universe” and Netflix’s global hit Korean series “Squid Game” have been nominated at the 26th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards organized by the Art Directors Guild (ADG) in the US.
The ADG “is a labor union representing approximately 3,000 members who work throughout the world as Production Designers, Art Directors, Scenic, Title and Graphic Artists; Set Designers and Model Makers; Illustrators, Matte Artists, and Previs Artists,” according to its website.
The Production Design Awards will be held on March 5 and will honor production design in theatrical motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos and animation features.
Coldplay and BTS’ “My Universe” music video, by production designer François Audouy, is nominated under the Music Videos category.
“Squid Game,” under production designer Chae Kyoung-sun, is nominated in the One-Hour Contemporary Single-Camera Series category.
The winners will be announced during the ADG Awards ceremony to be held at InterContinental Hotel Los Angeles Downtown Hotel on March 5.
