OFWs advised to email QC health department for national vaccine certificate


The Quezon City government announced on Monday, Jan. 24, that Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the city can send an email to its health department to process their "VaxCertPH" or national vaccine certificates.

According to the local government, issuance of the certificates to OFWs should be prioritized following the Department of the Interior and Local Government's (DILG) advisory on Dec. 9, 2021.

They can send a message to the following email addresses:

It must include their full name, documents that will serve as proof (e.g. employment contract or plane ticket), VaxCertPH reference number, vaccination details (site, vaccine brand, date of first and second dose), a clear or scanned photo of vaccination card, and a government-issued ID.

The local government said those with urgent concerns or imminent departure schedules can send the details to the city's Facebook page.

It added that non-residents who were vaccinated in Quezon City can also send an email for the certification.

Meanwhile, it also said that the "QCProtektodo" local vaccination cards can be used for domestic travel as per DILG's advice on Dec. 4 2021.
