“By December of 2022, tapos na ‘yon (it’s already finished), 100 percent,” Domagoso said during the Jessica Soho The Presidential Interviews on Saturday, Jan. 22.

Domagoso said he would undertake the same projects in Marawi as he did in Manila, including providing free housing for the homeless residents.

“Ako namamahagi ako ng lupa sa Maynila, binibili ng gobyerno at ibinibigay sa tao. Nagtatayo tayo ng mga pabahay at ibinibigay sa tao para magkaroon ng kapanatagan. And that same rule will be applied to Marawi (I provide lands in Manila, the government buys it and gives it to people. We build housing and give it to people to have security. And that same rule will be applied to Marawi),” he assured.

Several establishments, houses, bridges and other infrastructure were destroyed after the conflict between government forces and the ISIS-inspired Maute Group.
