LOOK: Sheryn Regis, partner tattooed by Apo Whang-od

Singer Sheryn Regis and vlogger Mel de Guia recently visited the village of Buscalan in Tinglayan, Kalinga.

There, the two got inked by Apo Whang-od, considered the last mambabatok (Kalinga tattooist) from the Butbut tribe.

Note that Apo Whang-od has been tattooing people the past 80 years — including many celebrities.

Sheryn and Mel proudly shared with fans their journey.

"A memorable experience with a Legendary Tattoo Artist APO WHANG-OD described as the "last" and oldest mambabatok of the larger Kalinga ethnic group," said Sheryn.

Singer-actress Geneva Cruz couldn't help but react to it.

She wrote: "Oh wow! Nice! I want to have a tattoo done by her too! Lucky lucky!"

Sheryn replied: "@genevacruzofficial yes yes ate. Kahit malayo. Worth it."
