foodpanda has added a “tip” feature into their app, allowing customers to tip their riders. This feature can be accessed when ordering using a credit card or an e-wallet.
foodpanda Philippines managing director, Daniel Marogy, mentioned that is one of the company’s ways of showing gratitude to their riders and giving their customers the opportunity to support the riders.
“Our Ka-Panda riders are at the heart of foodpanda’s service, and they are the ones that our customers interact with the most,” Marogy said. “We want to give our customers a convenient way to tip their riders even through cashless transactions, and we likewise want to make it easy for our hardworking riders to receive these tokens.”
According to foodpanda, 100% of tips will go directly to the rider’s accounts. Transaction fees will be covered by the company.
“We are one with our customers in saying “thank you” to our thousands of Ka-Panda riders all over the country, and we will continue to find new ways of showing our appreciation,” Marogy said.
