K-pop boy band Treasure set a personal best for their upcoming new album “The Second Step: Chapter One.”

It added that the three single albums that Treasure released in their first year of debut sold 240,000 to 280,000 copies and their first full-length album “The First Step: Treasure Effect” sold about 360,000 copies.

It can be seen that the pre-orders for “The Second Step: Chapter One” are twice the number of individual albums sold by Treasure.

“The Second Step: Chapter One” will be released on Feb. 15 and within less than a month before its release, the final order volume is expected to increase further.

In order to respond to the support of domestic and foreign fans, YG Entertainment decided to produce additional copies of Treasure’s upcoming album.

“Please look forward to Treasure’s ‘The Second Step: Chapter One,’ which will blow like a storm this year,” the agency said earlier.

It added, “Treasure’s ‘Second Step’ will shine even more with fans’ participation. Please look forward to how they will take over this year alongside fans.”

Since their debut in August 2020, Treasure, composed of 12 members, have released four albums in a row over five months and have sold more than one million copies.

YG Entertainment launched Treasure as a rookie group in about four years since BLACKPINK.
