NAIA passenger lodging facilities closed after 2 foreign guests test positive for COVID


The passenger lodging facilities of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 was closed after two foreign tourists that stayed in the area tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Airport operation personnel Apolonio Mendoza said the closure was ordered by the Bureau of Quarantine.

He said that the head head of lodging facility and nine airport staff were advised to undergo self-isolation for seven days.

The Passengers lodging facilities at the NAIA Terminal 1 serves as a transit hotel for the he passengers having trouble in airport specially passengers barred to enter in the country by the Bureau of Immigration.
