Valenzuela’s COMET shuttles to give commuters free rides until Jan. 31


Residents of Valenzuela City can enjoy the free rides on the city’s electric minibuses only until Jan. 31, the local government announced on Saturday, Jan. 15.

First launched in Dec. 2021, the “COMET” shuttles or fully- airconditioned with charging stations electric vehicles had served resident commuters from Puregold Valenzuela to SM North Edsa.

According to the city government, commuters can avail of the free rides by downloading the Global Electric Transport (GET) PASS App on App Store or Play Store, and joining the Triple K Organization.

The following are the COMET shuttle stations:

• Puregold Malanday

• Puregold Dalandanan

• Valenzuela City Hall

• SM City Valenzuela

• SM North Edsa

• Gateway Mall

• Robinsons Galleria/ Eton Cyberpod

• Ayala Malls The 30th

The city government is still strictly implementing the “No GETPASS, No Ride” policy in all COMET pick-up points.

Meanwhile, no amount of fare transaction has been announced yet on the expected expiration of free rides after Jan. 31.(​​​​Cherrylin Caacbay)
