Caloocan City District 1 Representative Dale "Along" Malapitan is leading the city's mayoralty race in the coming 2022 elections, according to a survey conducted by the Actual and Comprehensive Evaluators, Inc.
The survey was held last December 2021 where a total of 5,164 residents from the city responded.
Results showed that Malapitan garnered 65 percent in the survey against District 2 Rep. Edgar "Egay" Erice who got 32 percent.
For the vice-mayor's position, Malapitan's running mate, Coun. Karina Teh got 60 percent while her opponent, Coun. PJ Malonzo, has 32 percent.
Incumbent Mayor Oscar "Oca" Malapitan and Vice-Mayor Maca Asistio also led the survey for Districts 1 and 2 representatives.
Meanwhile, Coun. Dean Asistio was also the most preferred for the congressman position for the newly established District 3 with 63 percent against former Mayor Recom Echiverri with 33 percent.
