Registered nurse Gelo Villadarez got the attention of some netizens when he started posting his body transformation, from being on the heavy side to his current muscular physique. (ayaw paawat sa before and after photos!)
“Sabi nila di naman ako ganun kataba dati pero kasi napansin ko yung nagdiet ako nag-gym, lumiit mukha ko tapos nag-iba yung katawan ko. Sabi nung isang friend ko, post ko raw, hanggang sa ang daming naka-appreciate,” Gelo recalls. (ako nga feeling ko mahal na kita bro!)
The 32-year-old Canada based social worker is now enjoying his regular posting of “after gym selfies” and even “after shower photos”! (dinaig ang mga pictorial ng Seiko films noong araw!)
“I really want to inspire other people. Kung kaya ko, kaya rin nila. Minsan pag may mga nagrerequest ng photos ko, I send them. Ganun lang. Walang iba,” Gelo shares. (ay may sharing nang nagaganap?!)
Gelo who taped an episode for our digital show, "WTFu," wants to share his fitness journey and inspiring experiences in a popular TV reality show but for now, a television drama anthology has shown interest in his featuring his story. (ano kayang title? Talong? Dahil yun favorite mong gulay?)
“Actually storya ito ng family ko. Hindi lang ako. Yung struggles namin nung maulila kami. Yung paano kami nagsumikap dito sa Canada. At yung di naming nagawang isama yung lola ko rito hanggang sa namatay na sya," Gelo says. (eh yung love story natin bro, isasama ba dyan?!)
The production has not finalized the cast but if given the choice, he wants young actor Joshua Garcia or Enchong Dee to portray his character. “Nakikita ko na kayang kaya nilang isabuhay si Gelo. Magagaling silang artista.” (sige, ikaw na lang si Joshua, ako si Enchong! Chos!)
