Cavite provincial gov't on WFH mode due to COVID-19 cases


CAVITE – Employees of the provincial government will be on a work-from-home arrangement starting Wednesday (Jan. 12) due to the overwhelming number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases recorded, the Provincial Information Office announced.

The Provincial Health Office, meanwhile, as well as the provincial-supervised hospitals, will continue to operate at full capacity.

On Jan. 7, Gov. Jonvic Remulla said in a Facebook post that more than 50 workers in his office have tested positive for the virus.

Cavite remains to have the most number of active COVID-19 cases in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) with 6,902 active cases as of Jan. 11, according to data from the Department of Health Center for Health Development Region IVA.
