Mayor Isko extends drive-thru booster vaccination, to launch same program for four-wheel vehicles

Mayor Francisco “isko Moreno” Domagoso announced that Manila’s drive-thru booster vaccination program for motorcycle riders and cyclists will be extended to Wednesday, Jan. 12.

During a nightly livestream update on Tuesday, Jan. 11, Domagoso announced the extension of the city’s drive-thru booster vaccination drive which originally ran from Saturday, Jan. 8, to Monday, Jan. 10.

The drive-thru site is still at the Bonifacio Shrine also known as the Kartilya ng Katipunan beside the Manila City Hall from 8 p.m.to 5 p.m and will cater only to motorcycle riders and cyclists.

Furthermore, Domagoso promised to offer another drive-thru vaccination drive for four-wheel vehicles.

“Marami nagre-request sa inyo na magpabooster drive-thru vaccination ng four-wheel... bigyan mo lamang ako ng mga 48 hours, ng two days lamang (Many have requested for the implementation of a drive-thru booster vaccination program for four-wheel vehicles... give me 48 hours or two days),” said Domagoso.

“Talagang naka-stretch na po nang todo ‘yung ating medical frontliners sa vaccination...gagawa po ako ng paraan (Our medical frontliners are spread thin for vaccination duty... I’ll find a way), just give me 48 hours. I-uupdate ko kayo kaagad kung matutupad ang inyong kahilingan (I’ll update you right away if we can fulfill your request),” added Domagoso.
