Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said on Tuesday, Jan. 4 is under quarantine after he was exposed to his staff who was positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
"I am in quarantine since I got exposed to my staff who tested positive last Friday," Duque told the President during his pre-recorded public message.
"I'll be under quarantine until the 8th, or ten days in all," he said.
The health chief said that he will get tested on Wednesday, Jan. 5 and that hopefully it will come out negative.
"So far I'm okay, wala naman po akong sintomas (I don't have any symptoms)," Duque responded when Duterte inquired about his current condition.
