D.M. Wenceslao & Associates, Inc. (DMW) announced that it has signed a 25-year Contract of Lease with Landers Superstores for a 15,064 sqm parcel of land in Aseana City.
Landers is a major membership shopping chain in the country with several branches in Metro Manila as well as in Cebu. It offers a wide array of local and international finds along with delectable in-house dining options.
“We are excited to host Landers in Aseana City, not only will this land lease be recurring income-accretive to DMW but will also advance our efforts to further increasing the diversity of major brands and essential locators in Aseana City,” said DMW Chief Executive Officer Delfin Angelo Wenceslao.
He added that, “Landers has amassed significant following over the years; we look forward to the additional draw and the critical mass that Landers will bring to Aseana.”
Meanwhile, DMW recently inaugurated 58 Jupiter, a 5-story mixed-use building with over 2,000 sqms of gross leasable area (GLA) located along Jupiter Street in Makati City.
The firm said 58 Jupiter will cater to both food and non-food merchants. The development will feature a vertical garden, rain harvesting planters for irrigation, and operable pivoted windows.
The completion of 58 Jupiter brought DMW’s total building leasing space to over 162,000sqms.
“58 Jupiter is our first constructed-commercial asset in Makati City. DMW has the internal capabilities and expertise in planning, design, and execution; we bring these internal capabilities and extensive experience from developing our Aseana City assets into locations outside of Aseana, where we see pockets of opportunities,” said Wenceslao.
He noted that, “The completion of 58 Jupiter further advances our diversification efforts; last year we purchased a property in Legazpi, Makati, where we envision to build an upscale residential condominium.”
