Robredo, in a Facebook post, shared photos of her daughter while on duty in the drive-through vaccination site at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex.

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has partnered with the Manila City government led by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno for the inoculation of tricycle, pedicab, and deliver riders.

The second dose of the COVID-19 vaccines were administered to them despite the heavy downpour caused by Typhoon “Fabian.”

“Tricia is one of our volunteer vaccinators today. Heavy rains but all our volunteers braved the floods to come and help. We would never have pulled this off without their commitment,” she said.

Tricia, a doctor, had also participated in the OVP’s free COVID-19 antigen testing in Malabon City last April.

The vice president expressed her gratitude not only to the volunteers for their efforts but also to the Manila local government, members of PCG, PNP, AFP, and OVP staff for their assistance in the project.

Despite the rain, Robredo noted the good vaccination turnout because there was no pre-screening anymore.

The Vaccine Express inoculated more than 4,500 tricycle and pedicab drivers during its pilot run in Manila on June 22 to 23.
