DLSU on Saturday, June 5, advised the public not to entertain solicitation emails bearing the university’s name.

“De La Salle University recently learned of a malicious circulating email that bears its name and which asks recipients to provide budgetary requests,” it wrote on Facebook.

The university also clarified that its administration, faculty members, and personnel “will never make such solicitations.”

DLSU also asked recipients to refrain from communicating with the sender and to provide any personal or financial information.
