Anthony Semerad, Sam Pinto tie the knot

PBA forward Anthony Semerad of the NLEX Road Warriors and actress-model Sam Pinto have recently tied the knot.

NLEX announced on Monday, March 8, that the two were married on the same day.

Semerad and Pinto also shared their respective posts on their Instagram accounts.

"Hopefully, I could start a family soon. I don’t know what to expect in the next chapter, but I’m looking forward to it," said Semerad as quoted from NLEX's official Facebook page, taking inspiration on his brother David of the TNT Tropang Giga.

"I’m looking at my brother and I’ve seen how he handles the kid now. He’s providing for his family, he’s the man in charge, for me, that’s exciting for the next chapter of my life."

The couple had a civil wedding with a small ceremony at the rooftop of Conrad Manila in Pasay City. Their immediate family, including David and his wife Gwen Zamora, also an actress-model, were also present.

Pinto, in a previous post, revealed that "Part 2" of the wedding is underway, perhaps a church wedding on a bigger occasion should the COVID-19 situation eases in the country. The 31-year-old actress-model has been posting prenup photos of them since last month.

Semerad, 29, and Pinto have been together since August 2018 and got engaged on the same month a year later.
