Two of Ekong’s cohorts, Darwisa Ibbo y Sahi and Toto Samson y Abdulla, were also arrested during the operation. The suspects are residents of Jolo, Sulu.

Police seized a kilo of shabu wrapped in packing tape, boodle money and the suspects’ personal items.

Natividad said the arrest was the result of a month- long surveillance on the suspects based on a tip from informants.

The three suspects are facing charges for violation of the 2002 Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
