Paranaque City’s COVID-19 cases down to 18


Paranaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the City Health Office and City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CSEU) reported that coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the city are down to 18.

Olivarez said from the 16 barangays in the city, eight recorded zero cases. These are Barangays Don Galo, La Huerta, Sto. Nino, Vitales, BF Homes, Marcelo Green, Moonwalk, and San Martin De Porres.

He said the remaining barangays with active cases are San Dionisio, Tambo, Merville and San Antonio with three cases each, Sun Valley with two, and Baclaran, San Isidro, Don Bosco with one case each.

The mayor reminded residents to celebrate and enjoy the Christmas but to avoid big gatherings to prevent the spread and transmission of COVID-19.

Olivarez said he is aiming for a single-digit or zero case of COVID-19 in the city. . ,
