Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso signed City Ordinance No. 8797 on Wednesday, Dec. 22, on the grant of P5,000 cash gifts to the city government's job order and contractual workers.
Under Ordinance No. 8797, P51,150,000 was allocated for the holiday gift of Manila City Hall's estimated 10,230 contractual workers.
Domagoso also signed Executive Order No. 50 on Wednesday, Dec. 22, declaring half day work for city government employees (excluding frontline service employees in peace and order, traffic enforcement, disaster and risk reduction management, and health and sanitation) starting at 12 noon on Dec. 24 and 31.
