Major Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., Army Commanding General, personally visited the wounded soldiers to send his regards and deliver grocery packs to them.

In his speech, Brawner expressed his intention to put primary importance on the physical and mental health of the Army personnel.

“To our soldiers, do not lose hope. The Philippine Army, together with the staff and doctors from the Army General Hospital, is always ready to cater to your medical needs when the need arises,” Brawner said.

He also shared his goal of improving Army hospitals across the country to give proper medical attention to personnel especially those who are deployed in the frontlines.

Aside from injuries sustained in battles, wounded military personnel also had to endure being away with their families for the holiday season.

Brawner urged the soldiers to keep their spirits up as he wished for their speedy recovery so that they could finally be reunited with their families and serve the country and the Filipino people in the field once more.
