There will be power interruptions on Dec. 23 - 24 in parts of Binondo, Intramuros, and Ermita in Manila City, according to the Manila Electric Company (Meralco).
Meralco said facilities will be relocated due to the construction of the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge along Muelle Del Banco Nacional St. in Binondo.
Power interruptions will occur between 11:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 23 and between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the following areas:
-Portion of Magallanes Drive from the Bureau of Immigration in Intramuros. Affected buildings include the Central Post Office, Liwasang Bonifacio, National Press Club, and the Overseas Filipino Bank in Lawton.
-Along Muralla St. in Binondo, including the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI).
-Sta. Cruz road in Lawton, Ermita, including the Park N Ride along Lawton.
Power interruptions will occur from 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 23, to 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the following areas: -Segment of Muelle Del Banco Nacional St. from Prensa St.. Affected buildings include the Birch Tree Plaza Bldg. and Binondo Flood Control Pumping Station in Binondo.
-Segment of Dasmariñas St. from Prensa St. Affected buildings include the Noble Place Bldg., Maritima Bldg., World Exchange Center, and Federal Tower Condominium in Binondo.
-Segment of Muelle De Binondo St. from Dasmariñas St. Affected buildings include the Crystal Mansion, Red Planet Manila Binondo, CNC Investment Bldg. and World Trade Exchange Center in Binondo. ( Khriscielle Yalao)
