I had a chance to work with two lovely ladies this past week: Phenomenal Diva Jessa Zaragoza and Radio Diva DJ ChaCha. (lovely ba talaga?!)
Jessa and I hosted the TV5 Christmas Party dubbed: “Ang Galing ng Pasko Natin!” at the TV5 Center in Mandaluyong. We were at the studio with the production staff, party contestants and TV5 bosses headed by Mr. Robert P. Galang while the employees were on zoom. It was my first time to share hosting chores with Jessa, but we instantly had this chemistry on stage. (matagal na kami magkakilala at lagi kaming nagkakasasabay sa salon!) The highlight of the show was the Sing-Galing Employees edition. 'Sing-galing' is a regular show in the network where Jessa is one of the judges. (na muntik pa ako mapasali sa show na yan as celebrity contestant, pero di ko keri! Kasi lalabas ang boses palaka ko!)
It has been years since the last time I was at the TV5 studio. We used to do our Wow Mali! and talk show tapings there. (so feeling pa-comeback ito!) The compound was not that as busy as before but at least they still produce shows. (ibang level kasi yung nagsisimula pa lang kami sa pagbubukas ng TV5, humahataw!) We just hope, there will be more shows from the network. (I’m just one call away, ha!)
Days later, I was with DJ Cha Cha for Shoppee’s Christmas Party titled: “Paskong Shopee-noy!” I have already worked with her in the KBP Golden Dove Awards several years ago, and we both belong to the radio industry. So, It is always fun hosting with her. Cha Cha and I were assigned at the Shoppee Studio in BGC with the production team and some guest performers. All of their employees were online. The show focused on the recorded performances of each department. (yung ang lakas maka-That’s Entertainment production numbers!) Music Icon Jose Mari Chan also took time to give special awards to deserving employees. (with matching a cappella na 'Christimas in our Hearts' ha!)
I was supposed to do a TV showbiz talk show with Cha Cha months ago, but it didn’t materialize. (Baka nakalimutan lang nila o nakatulog!) But we still hope to work together on a regular show in the future. (ang gagamitin naming hashtag. #FUCHA)
