San Juan City gov’t gives cash rewards to honor students

The San Juan City local government has started the distribution of cash reward to public school honor students on Monday, Dec. 20.

Mayor Francis Zamora led the distribution together with Atty. Bel Zamora, District Office Head of Congress Ronny Zamora, Vice Mayor Warren Villa, and other city councilors at San Juan Gym.

Grade 6 honor students will receive P2,000; P3,000 for high honors, and P5,000 for highest honors.

Grade 10 students with honors will get P3,000; P5,000 for high honors, and P7,000 for highest honors.

Meanwhile, Grade 12 honor students will get P5,000; P7,000 for high honors, and P10,000 for highest honors.

A total of 437 students received cash rewards -- seven for P7,000; 154 for P5,000, 117 for 3,000, and 144 for P2,000.

Zamora congratulated the honor students and commended their achievements.
