No doubt, former Miss Universe Spain Angela Ponce is so in love these days!

This after she posted a photo of her and her boyfriend while holding hands in Turkey recently.

Angela, 30, broke barriers when she became the first transgender woman to compete at the prestigious Miss Universe pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2018. She did not place, but she was honored with a special spot in the competition.

Just recently, Angela shared a photo of her and her boyfriend on Instagram. She greeted her boyfriend on his birthday.

Her caption in Spanish read: "Que la vida te siga sonriendo tan bonito como tú le sonríes a ella.. Feliz cumpleaños mi amor no todos los días se cumple años en un lugar tan mágico como Turquía."

Translated in English, it read: "May life continue to smile at you as beautifully as you smile at it. Happy birthday my love not every day is your birthday in a place as magical as Turkey."

After she competed in Miss Universe, Ponce said she hoped to spread the messages of "equality, respect, inclusion and love" through her participation in the pageant, according to an article on cbsnews.com.

"I always say: having a vagina didn't transform me into a woman. I am a woman, already before birth, because my identity is here," Ponce told Agence France-Presse, gesturing to her head.

"I'm showing that trans women can be whatever they want to be," Ponce told Time. "A teacher, a mother, a doctor, a politician and even Miss Universe."
