In the electronic raffle conducted by the Commision on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, Ang Probinsyano Party List was able to secure #50 placement on the 2022 official ballot.
“This is a good number” according to Representative Alfred Delos Santos: “Masaya po ang Ang Probinsyano Party List dahil pinagpala tayong makakuha ng numerong madaling tandaan. Noong nakaraang eleksyon, nasa Top 5 Party List po tayo, na nakuha ng pinakamaraming boto. Ngayong darating na eleksyon, umaasa po ang Ang Probinsyano Party List na makapasok muli sa Top 5. The number 50 is a significant number and mentioned so many times in the bible. Even in numerology, number 50 symbolizes master of change. So, #50 on the 2022 ballot is a positive sign for Ang Probinsyano Party List”.
Rep. Delos Santos, in his freshman experience in the 18th Congress shared that Ang Probinsyano Party List, stayed true to its core as the representative of probinsyanos. Ang Probinsyano Party List delivered much-needed infrastructure projects in remote areas. Distributed aid - be it financial, medical, educational or livelihood to people affected by the calamities and the pandemic. Ang Probinsyano Party List was also the first group/ individual in Congress which filed the resolution for the investigation of the Special Risk Allowance for Health Workers.
“Hindi po nasayang ang boto niyo. Marami pong nagawa ang Ang Probinsyano Party List, lalung- lalo na po sa mga ka-probinsyano!” Rep. Delos Santos concluded Ang Probinsyano Party List is among the 166 Party List groups allowed to participate in today’s raffle of slots. Around 70 party-list groups, rejected by the Comelec, are still keeping their fingers crossed that they would be given the go-signal to participate in next year’s election.
