Take your Mini to more places with the Countryman

The Mini made for going further

Mini Asia and British United Automobiles Inc. jointly announced the arrival of the new Countryman, the biggest and most versatile member of the Mini model family. Its robust design and versatile interior with five fully-fledged seats make it the ideal Mini not just for day-to-day traffic, but also for long-distance trips.

Since the first Mini Countryman, the model has been known as the most practical, longer than four meters, with four doors, a large tailgate, five seats and all-wheel drive. The new Countryman continues to offer this practicality with refined design, attractive additions to the equipment range and innovative technology.

New look

Most evident is the Countryman’s new look. It bears a unique roof line with standard roof rails, high ground clearance, and tall cabin. Changes to its look include a new front bumper in body color for a high-quality look. It also gets a redesigned radiator grille with a hexagonal pattern.

They’re paired with new asymmetric LED headlights with a continuous ring of light that serves as both daytime running lamp and turn signal indicator. The standard trim of the new MINI Countryman also includes LED fog lights, with a light band in the upper semicircle of each fog light serving as a parking light.

The rear gets a similar amount of attention. There’s a redesigned bumper and rear apron. The rear lights get LED illumination and the new Union Jack pattern and finished with chrome frame.

The Countryman comes with new body finishes. These are parts like the roof and mirror caps that can be finished in black in counterpoint with the body color. Some of these color choices include White Silver metallic and Sage Green metallic.

The Piano Black Exterior trim ensures a particularly striking appearance: here, the headlight surrounds, rear lights, radiator grille and side indicator elements – or side scuttles – are finished in high-gloss black instead of chrome, as are the door handles and the model lettering on the luggage compartment lid. The car is also fitted as standard with 19-inch light alloy wheels in the design variant Turnstile Spoke two-tone with run-flat tires.

Improved interior

The driver will be delighted by the new digital instrument display that comes as standard, at five inches in diameter and positioned behind the steering wheel.

It’s complemented by the Connected Navigation Plus system, an 8.8-inch color display with touchscreen function in the center. It can be controlled via the circular control unit or the touch-sensitive bookmark buttons. It comes with wireless charging for compatible mobile phones and a second USB socket to charge a mobile device. Drivers can also stay connected on the go with wireless Apple CarPlay on the MINI Countryman.

The new Countryman has been made more versatile with three fully-fledged seats are available at the rear. Alternatively, the second row of seats can also be used to expand transport capacity. By folding down the rear seat with a 40 : 20 : 40 split, storage space can be extended from 450 to up to 1,390 litres. Taking it around town is easy thanks to features like Park Distance Control including Park Assist on all model variants. Also standard on the new MINI Countryman are electrically adjustable seats for the front occupants, including a memory function on the driver’s side.

TwinPower Turbo

Propelling the countryman is a four-cylinder petrol engine TwinPower Turbo Technology that produces 192-Hp. It’s paired with a seven-speed Steptronic double-clutch sport transmission for rapid gear changes and increased shifting dynamics.

The 2022 Mini Countryman is now available with a suggested retail price of P3,750,000. It's also available in a wide array of colors, including two new finishes; White Silver Metallic and Sage Green Metallic.
