Ateneo to 'gradually' return to in-person classes in January

The Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) announced that it will "gradually" return to face-to-face classes for the first time in two years starting January 2022.

AdMU said its pilot run to return in in-person classes will be made in phases and will prioritize graduating students, beginning with the Loyola Schools and the Professional Schools.

"The campus will also be gradually opened to allow other academic activities such as research, teacher consultation, and counseling and psychological services," AdMU said in an advisory released Friday, Dec. 10.

It added that all employees and guests entering the Ateneo campuses in Loyola Heights, Rockwell, Pasig, and Salcedo should be fully vaccinated or should be under COVID-19 testing.

Prior to this, the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health started conducting limited face-to-face classes in Ortigas, Pasig campus in January 2021.
