A total of 197 families affected by a fire that gutted a residential area along Onyx street in San Andres Bukid, Manila on Tuesday, Dec. 7, were given financial assistance by the city government on Friday, Dec. 10
Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso met with the Onyx fire victims during the distribution of financial aid in San Andres Bukid.
According to Domagoso, all fire victims who were present would receive P 10,000.
Domagoso also assured the residents that they would receive holiday food packs as part of Manila’s Pamaskong Handog, the distribution of which started on Sunday, Dec. 5.
A report on the Onyx street fire by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) indicated one casualty and around 100 families affected.
