“Over the next three days or over the weekend ay wala tayong inaasahan na bagyo na maaaring mabuo o pumasok ng PAR (Over the next three days or over the weekend, no weather disturbance is expected to develop or enter PAR),” said Weather Specialist Raymond Ordinario in a public weather forecast.

Ordinario said that cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rain showers are experienced in eastern Visayas including Northern Mindanao, and Caraga due to the shear line.

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light rain showers are expected in Cagayan Valley, parts of Cordillera, and the Bicol region due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan.”

The rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will have a fair weather condition aside from isolated light rains, while isolated rain showers and light rains may also affect Mindanao.

PAGASA reiterated that a gale warning is in effect as of Thursday evening due to the strong gale-force winds associated with the northeast monsoon.

Fishing boats and other small seacrafts were advised not to venture out into the seaboards of northern Luzon, seaboards of central Luzon, eastern and western seaboards of southern Luzon, eastern and western seabords of Visayas, and the eastern seaboard of Mindanao due to rough sea conditions.
