P884K shabu seized, 8 drug suspects nabbed in Quiapo

Police seized P884,000 worth suspected shabu from eight alleged drug peddlers in Quiapo, Manila on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

Police Lt. Col. John Guiagui, Manila Police District (MPD) Station 3 chief, identified the suspects as Evelyn Abrillo, Bobby Swing, one alias Luz, Ace Robles, Emmanuel Cordero, Alexander Ronquillo, and a 15-year-old boy.

According to the police report, the suspects were caught in the act of selling nine sachets of shabu at about 9:30 p.m. on Quezon Boulevard in Quiapo.

Three of the suspects were included in the city’s drug watchlist.

The suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, police said.

The 15-year-old boy was turned over to the Department of Social and Welfare Development (DSWD).
