Las Pinas police confiscate P8.5 M party drugs


An alleged female drug pusher was arrested by a combined team of law enforcement agencies in possession of P8.5-million worth of party drugs Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 7 ) in Las Pinas City.

Police identified the suspect as Ana Fe Morilla, alias Jonah Ileve and a resident of Guava St., CAA Phase II, Las Pinas City. She is now detained at the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) custodial facility and was charged for illegal possession of drugs.

Southern Police District Director, Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg said the suspect was arrested at about 4:25 p.m. along Manila Doctors Village, Almanza Uno, Las Pinas City.

Macaraeg said members of PDEA coordinated with the SPD-District Drug Enforcement Unit and the Las Pinas City police for the arrest of the suspect.

He said that Morilla was arrested after receiving the package from a PDEA agent who posed as a delivery courier.

The SPD director said the combined team of law enforcement agencies immediately collared the suspect after signing the delivery box using the name Jonah Ileve when it was handed over to her.

Macaraeg said the delivery box contained 4,970 pieces of ecstacy amounting to P8.5-million.
