BSA’s initiative, “Pamaskong Handog na Bigas,” aims to supplement Pasig City’s yearly Christmas gift-giving to its residents. The distribution already started last Wednesday, Dec. 1

“The free, high-quality, 10 kilo sack of rice will be delivered right at their doorstep. Since there is still a pandemic, we deliver our free rice to our residents so that we can avoid crowding,” said BSA Chairman Raymond Lising.

He explained that BSA had been practicing the yearly rice distribution since before he was elected chairman in 2018.

Meanwhile, BSA also offers cash gifts to senior citizens, while village employees receive Christmas bonuses, grocery packs, and even get to join a raffle draw.

Pasig City’s “Pamaskong Handog” which started on Monday, Nov. 29, saw the distribution of 375,000 gift bags worth P 625.67 each, containing spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce, chicken or beef luncheon meat, fruit cocktail, sweetened creamer, chocolate drink mix, corned tuna, elbow macaroni pasta, and mayonnaise pouch.
