The Las Piñas City conducted face-to-face classes for students taking up technical-vocational livelihood strand at Las Piñas National High School.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said prior to the implementation of pilot face-to-face classes, the Las Piñas School Division prepared the school to ensure that health protocols would be observed by students and teachers.
Aguilar said the city government also ensured that all the teachers and school personnel involved in the in-person classes have already been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
She said the City Health office (CHO) also deployed a team to immediately attend to the health needs of students, teachers, and school personnel.
The team also reminded the students of the importance of observing the basic health protocols for their protection against the virus.
The mayor said the city government will also conduct face-to-face classes at Manuyo Senior High School on Dec. 7.
