A total of 86 students in Caloocan City participated in the pilot implementation of limited face-to-face classes held in Andres Bonifacio Elementary School and Bagumbong Elementary School on Monday, Dec. 6.
Each school has 11 kindergarten pupils (22 in total), 16 Grade one students (32), and 16 from Grade two (32), according to the local government.
The city government said that the classes will be held for two months every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The students were reminded to follow the health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Meanwhile, Mayor Oscar "Oca" Malapitan said that the implementation is a good start for the aspect of education, and the city hopes that the COVID-19 situation will continue to get better so that all the students can return physically to school.
