All six incumbent congressmen were also joined by congressional bets in signing the manifesto.

The signatories of the commitment of support also pledged to strongly pursue a win in the 2022 polls for gubernatorial candidate and incumbent 5th District Rep. Ramon V. Guico and re-electionist vice governor Mark Ronald DG Lambino of Alyansang Guico-Lambino or Team Aguila.

“On behalf of all the 44 incumbent and aspiring mayors and 6 incumbent and aspiring congressmen of the province of Pangasinan, particular to the Team Aguila, as well as my fellow Hugpong Para Kay Sara, we hereby express our unequivocal support to you, for your candidacy and we will do everything in our power to ensure an unequivocal victory in the coming elections,” Quiambao said, during the event formalizing their commitment of support to the BBM-SARA Uniteam.

Quiambao is no longer running for an elective post to concentrate on securing a huge win for the Bongbong-Sara UniTeam in Pangasinan, one of the country’s most populous province.

His wife, former singer and television personality Niña Jose has filed her candidacy to replace Quiambao as Bayambang’s chief executive.

The local alliance endorsing the BBM-SARA tandem is composed of the Pangasinan chapters of Hugpong ng Pagbabago, Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, Lakas-CMD, Nacionalista Party, Nationalist People’s Coalition, Abono Party-list, People’s Reform Party, and Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino.

Abono Party-list Rep. Conrad M. Estrella III and Pangasinan’s First District congressional candidate Arthur F. Celeste expressed their group’s support for the BBM-Sara ticket.

“I believe that once the president sees the positive results of the winning tandem of BBM and Inday Sara, he will have a change of heart and agree that his child made the correct choice,” Estrella said to a crowd of supporters gathered at the events center in Bayambang, Pangasinan.

Celeste recalled that the presidency of the late president Ferdinand Marcos had been the best time for the country’s modernization. “We have given the Mindanaoans a chance, it is now time to have a leader from the north,” Celeste said.

Guico, for his part said, he supported President Rodrigo Duterte’s infrastructure policy which he described as an economic driver for the country and the province, in particular.

“All you will hear is how the Ilocanos love the Marcoses which they passed on to their children,” Guico said, adding that a Marcos presidency hallmarks a vision and true love for the country.

"All we desire for this tandem is continuity of the gains of the Duterte administration, let's support all-out BBM-SARA Uniteam," Guico stressed.

Those who were present and have expressed their support behind the BBM-SARA Uniteam were a former congressman and 2nd District congressional aspirant Mark O. Cojuangco, 3rd Dist. Rep. Rachel “Baby” Arenas, Maria Georina P. De Venecia, Binalonan Mayor Ramon N. Guico Jr., 6th District Tyrone D. Agabas, among other prominent political personalities.

Cojuangco reiterated his support to the BBM-Sara team, citing his family had long been a key supporter of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan leader. “Nandyan ang catalyst na kelangan para ibalik muli ang galing ng ating lalawigan,” Cojuangco said.

The group said Marcos proven track record in the executive, legislative and administrative had prepared him for the “most difficult job” in the country.

“We all have common hopes. The hopes that we can provide a better life for fellow Filipinos and our families and pin our hopes on our next president, firm in the belief that he can deliver a bright and progressive future, not only for Pangasinenses but to all our fellow Filipinos,” Guico added.
