Pasay police chief warns men vs accepting bribes

Col. Cesar Paday-os, Pasay City Police chief, warned his men against accepting material and monetary considerations from those involved in illicit activities such as illegal gambling and illegal drugs trade.

Paday-os issued his warning after Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos ordered the strict enforcement of the “no take policy” on all forms of illegal activities.

Paday-os said tougher sanctions will be slapped against police operatives found accepting bribes.

The Pasay City police chief stressed it is very important to preserve the dignity of law enforcers and public servants who are mandated to serve and protect the people and the community.
