LAGUNA – Governor Ramil L. Hernandez proudly announced that the province has exceeded its target during the National Vaccination Days from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.
"Hindi lamang po natin basta naabot kundi nahigitan pa natin ang 210,660 na target na mabakunahan (We didn't only hit but we exceeded our target of 210,660 jabs)," Hernandez wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday (Dec. 2).
"Sa kabuuan ay nakapagbakuna tayo ng higit 256,000 na indibidwal o 122 percent ng ating target (All in all, we inoculated over 256,000 individuals or 122 percent of our target)."
Hernandez also said that Laguna recorded the highest vaccination rate in Region IV-A and in the whole country over the three-day period.
The number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the province continues to go down with only 191 active cases as of Dec. 2 as per data from the Department of Health Center for Health Development Region IV-A.
