In a Facebook post, Mayor Angelo G. Aguinaldo said that the Christmas display aims to symbolize the town’s unwavering hope and strength amid the pandemic.

A lighting ceremony was also held at the St. Mary Magdalene Parish, in preparation for the Maytinis Festival – a local Christmas Eve tradition that retells Mary and Joseph’s search for a place to stay in Bethlehem.
