7,763 minors inoculated in Pasig City

A total of 7,763 minors aged 12 to 17 were inoculated in Pasig as of Nov. 8.

Data provided by the Pasig Public Information Office reveal that as of Nov. 8, 7,844 COVID-19 doses have been deployed in the city.

A total of 7,763 minors both with comorbidities (A3) and part of the general pediatric population have been administered their first dose.

Of the total, 7,085 are part of the general pediatric population. Since the start of the mass pediatric vaccination in Pasig City on Nov. 3, at least 1,400 minors a day have been vaccinated.

A total of 81 minors have been fully vaccinated, all of whom are part of the A3 vaccine group.

Pasig City has been aggressively vaccinating minors since its initial rollout on Oct. 15, and the nationwide rollout on Nov. 3.

The Pasig Schools Division Office (SDO) has been working closely with the Department of Education (DepED) to inoculate 46,000 junior and senior high school public school students in the city.

The Pasig City government has even deployed six city school buses for vaccinees and their guardians to expedite the inoculation process of minors.

The Pasig SDO and DepEd aims to achieve the same vaccination rates with private school students.
