Pasay City accepts walk-ins for Bayanihan, Bakunahan


The Pasay City government will be accepting walk-in residents who want to get the vaccinated against COVID-19 during the Bayanihan, Bakunahan National Vaccination Days for adults and the general pediatric population from Nov. 29 to Dec.1.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said residents who are still unvaccinated and belonging to the A2 (senior citizens), A3 (adult with coorbidities), A4 (essential workers), Persons with Disability (PWD’s) and A5 (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) categories can visit the vaccination sites identified by the city government from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Rudiano said the vaccination sites are located at Resorts World Manila, Double Dragon Plaza, Mcdonalds Blue Bay, and Pasay City West High School.

She said for the first and second dose for the general pediatric population, the city government will conduct vaccinations at SM MOA Giga Vaccination Center from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. using the Pfizer vaccine brand.

For the second dose for adults, it will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Pasay City West High School using the AstraZeneca brand of vaccine for those who received their first dose at SM MOA Giga Vaccination Center on Oct. 18, and Sinovac for those who received their vaccine on Nov. 1.

Rubiano said the city government is still aiming to vaccinate around 200 individuals per day for the booster shot.

The mayor urged city residents to participate in the Bayanihan, Bakunahan campaign of the national government.
