The woes of Kemark Cariño and the Aomori Wat’s continued in Japan’s B.League second division after suffering twin defeats on the road to Bambitious Nara this weekend.

Aomori fell 82-67 in their first meeting Saturday, Nov. 27 before being clobbered 101-66 the following day at Rohto Arena in Nara.

Both results extended the Wat’s skid to 11 consecutive games while dropping to a league-worst 1-16 record in the second-tier.

Cariño didn’t see action in the first game before being fielded for 12 minutes on Sunday, Nov. 28.

He went scoreless after missing all three attempts while grabbing one rebound during another short appearance for the Wat’s.

The former San Beda center and the Wat’s return to action next weekend for a two-game set with Juan Gomez de Liano and Earthfriends Tokyo Z.

It will be the first time that the two Filipino cagers will face off in the second division.

Gomez de Liano and Tokyo Z, meanwhile, begin a two-game set against the Yamagata Wyverns on Monday.
